The Escape Hybrid Four
Wheel Drive adds a few key features to the standard features that you’ll
find on every Escape Hybrid model. One of these features is the Ford Hybrid
System: a 2.3L I4 Atkinson Cycle engine, permanent magnet electric motor,
Regenerative Braking System, 330-volt NiMH battery pack and eCVT transmission.
Another is the premium cloth seats with 60/40 split rear seat. You’ll
also love the Personal Safety System: driver and front passenger airbags,
with Occupant Sensing System on passenger side. The Escape Hybrid
4WD also
has power windows, mirrors, locks and driver’s seat. The MSRP for the
4WD Escape Hybrid is $28,595. It gets 33 city miles per gallon and 29 on
the highway. The main difference between the Escape Hybrid 4WD and the FWD
model is the fact that the 4WD offers you the extra power of four-wheel drive.
