Engine Options: Choose from three powerful engines to move Excursion to
the front of the pack. The standard 255-horsepower 5.4L Triton® V8,
the available 6.8L Triton® V10 with 310 horsepower and the available
325 hp 6.0L Power Stroke® Diesel with class-leading 560 lb.-ft. of
torque.
Towing Power: Properly equipped, Excursion can tow trailers weighing up
to 11,000lbs. The optional Power Stroke® Diesel includes a convenient
Tow/Haul function that adds a new level of confidence when taking on grades
with a trailer in tow.
Passenger Room: Excursion’s many available seating configurations
allow for 7,8, or 9 passengers. Choose from the 40/20/40 split bench front
seat (XLS only) or the dual front captain’s chairs (XLT, Eddie Bauer, & Excursion),
along with second-row folding bench seat. Eddie Bauer and Limited (pictured
above) provide true luxury with standard leather-trimmed front captain’s
chairs.
Cargo Room: For maximum cargo room no SUV can match, fold down the seats
for a cavernous cargo area with over 146cu. ft. of space. Six passengers,
no problem. You have over 100 cu. ft. behind the second-row seats. Nine
passengers 48 cu. ft. behind the third-row seats. Cargo and load capacity
